AutoCAD Designer

About the role

The client is looking for a skilled and detail‑oriented AutoCAD Designer to produce technical drawings for glass, aluminium, mirror and related architectural systems. The role involves close coordination with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop, fabrication and installation drawings for glass, aluminium, mirror and related architectural systems.
• Develop technical drawings for doors, windows, partitions, curtain walls, balustrades, sliding, slim and other glazing solutions.
• Review project specifications, architectural drawings and BOQs to ensure design compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, site engineers and production teams to resolve design queries.
• Produce material take‑offs, profile schedules and maintain drawing records throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or Drafting.
• 3–5 years of experience in the glass and aluminium industry, preferably in the Dubai market.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to read architectural, structural and engineering drawings.
• Strong communication skills for direct client and consultant interaction.
