Autonomous Vehicle Control Room Operator

About the role

Burjline Builders is looking for an Autonomous Vehicle Control Room Operator to monitor the operational status of its autonomous vehicle fleet. The role involves rapid response to incidents, accidents and emergencies while maintaining clear communication with ground teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor real‑time operational status of autonomous vehicles.
• Identify and respond to traffic accidents, emergencies and operational incidents.
• Dispatch emergency work orders to relevant ground support teams.
• Coordinate on‑site response activities with operational teams.
• Escalate incidents according to established procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with ground teams during incidents.
• Execute map interruption processes following operational guidelines.
• Track incident progress to resolution or further escalation.
• Record accurate details of incidents, actions taken and responses.
• Follow all emergency response and operational procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a control room, command centre, emergency response centre, fleet monitoring environment or similar operation.
• Strong situational awareness and decision‑making ability.
• Ability to remain calm and focused during incidents or emergencies.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work with monitoring systems.
• Ability to follow escalation procedures accurately.
• Experience in transportation, automotive, logistics or mobility operations is advantageous.
