Banquet Commis (Level 2) – One&Only One Za'abeel

About the role

Join the culinary team at One&Only One Za'abeel as a Banquet Commis 2, supporting the preparation and service of banquet meals in a luxury resort environment. You will work on the line during operating hours, ensuring every dish meets the brand’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Cook and present food items according to recipes and yield guides.
• Prepare ingredients – portion, chop, store and label food safely.
• Support the production flow and assist colleagues when requested.
• Handle special dietary requests, following specific instructions to guarantee guest satisfaction.
• Maintain proper product rotation in chillers to minimise waste.
• Accurately complete storeroom requisitions and check prep lists.
• Ensure cleanliness of work areas, utensils and equipment, adhering to safety and sanitation policies.
• Follow all kitchen policies, procedures and service standards.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Culinary Director or leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a banquet or hotel kitchen environment.
• Ability to work during outlet operating hours and handle a fast‑paced service.
• Positive attitude, teamwork spirit and proactive guest service mindset.

Required skills

• HACCP knowledge.
• Food preparation techniques.
