About the role
We are looking for a friendly Bar Host/Hostess to join our team at the Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park. You will welcome guests, manage seating, and support the restaurant’s booking process, ensuring a smooth dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and determine their dining needs in the bar area.
- Seat guests, manage the seating chart and monitor restaurant flow.
- Handle reservations via phone, email and fax, entering them accurately into the hotel system.
- Respond to guest inquiries and special requests promptly and courteously.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including administrative reports and daily logs.
- Coordinate with restaurant management on promotions and ensure they are reflected in the booking system and website.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel environment.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Proficiency with hotel reservation and restaurant management systems.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
