About the role
The Barge Foreman leads all offshore construction activities performed from the barge, ensuring safe, high‑quality execution and optimal productivity. Reporting to the Barge Superintendent/Field Engineer, the role supervises deck personnel and coordinates daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Control and direct all offshore construction work carried out by the barge.
- Report progress, issues, and construction updates to the Barge Superintendent/Field Engineer.
- Supervise deck crew, enforce quality standards, and drive productivity improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all offshore safety training requirements and company procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 years of proven offshore barge experience, including structure and pipe‑laying work.
- Strong command of English.
- Demonstrated organizational and leadership abilities, including night‑shift readiness.
- Comprehensive knowledge of offshore operations and contractual/technical processes.
