Barista – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Barista to join our café team in Dubai, delivering high‑quality coffee and exceptional service to hotel guests and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, teas and cold brews following standard recipes.
• Handle customer orders accurately and provide personalized beverage recommendations.
• Maintain inventory of coffee beans, supplies and baked goods, and restock as needed.
• Operate, clean and perform routine maintenance on espresso machines and brewing equipment.
• Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety and food‑hygiene regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized and inviting café environment.

Required profile

• Excellent English communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Reliable, punctual with a strong attendance record.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, weekends and shifts as required.

Required skills

• Operation and basic troubleshooting of espresso machines and coffee equipment.
• Use of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and cash handling.
• Knowledge of coffee bean varieties, flavor profiles and brewing techniques.
• Food safety and hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain).
