About the role
We are seeking a full‑time Barista to join our hospitality team in Dubai. The role involves opening and closing the coffee service area, preparing a variety of coffee and food items, handling cash transactions, and delivering a welcoming experience to all guests.
Key responsibilities
- Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
- Take guest orders, record them in the MICROS POS system, and prepare coffee and food items to company standards.
- Operate coffee makers and other appliances, ensuring they are turned on/off at appropriate times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee cart, tables, dishes, utensils, and work areas throughout the shift.
- Handle cash, count the bank at shift end, complete cashier reports, and resolve any discrepancies.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the MICROS POS system.
- Cash register operation and cash‑handling accuracy.
