Barista – Luxury Hotel Coffee Service

About the role

The Barista is responsible for delivering high‑quality coffee and beverage service in a five‑star hotel environment. You will maintain the coffee station to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and efficiency while consistently exceeding guest expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, take accurate beverage orders and ensure timely preparation and delivery.
• Prepare espresso‑based drinks, teas, juices, smoothies and specialty beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences.
• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, blenders and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain consistency in coffee grinding, extraction, milk steaming, temperature, presentation and portion control.
• Monitor stock levels of beans, milk, syrups and other ingredients, reporting shortages and wastage.
• Follow hotel food‑safety, HACCP and sanitation standards, keeping workstations clean and sanitized.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Barista in a luxury hotel, 5‑star hotel, premium café or high‑end hospitality venue (preferred).
• Professional barista training or certification is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of espresso preparation, coffee beans, brewing methods and beverage presentation.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
