Billing Analytics and Reconciliation Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Billing Analytics & Reconciliation Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Management team in a UAE hospital environment. The role focuses on ensuring billing accuracy, revenue integrity, and the development of robust financial control frameworks through detailed analysis and reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

• Review, validate and reconcile discounts, deposits, refunds and order charges.
• Investigate and resolve unclear deposits and billing exceptions.
• Monitor and reconcile orders dropped but not charged (Cerner vs RHES).
• Follow‑up on payments, outstanding balances and legal cases affecting collections.
• Prepare monthly departmental reports, dashboards and KPI analysis.
• Identify revenue leakage risks and develop exception‑based MIS reporting.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, billing and clinical teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Support revenue assurance initiatives through data analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience in Revenue Cycle Management, Billing Operations or Finance Reconciliation, preferably within a UAE hospital.
• Strong understanding of hospital billing processes, charge capture and revenue cycle workflows.
• Experience with interface reconciliations and charge capture monitoring.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, error trapping, data validation).
• Proficiency in Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools.
