BIM CAD Technician – Infra, Dry Utilities, Lighting, MV & LV Power Distribution

About the role

Parsons is seeking a skilled BIM/CAD Technician to support infrastructure dry utilities projects in Dubai, focusing on lighting, medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) power distribution, and pumping stations. You will work closely with CAD & BIM Managers and design leads to deliver high‑quality engineering drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Produce engineering drawings, layouts, flow sheets, isometrics, and component details from sketches and design data.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with company standards, QA/QC processes, and local authority regulations (DEWA, SEWA, Etihad WE, DM).
• Review drawings for readability, presentation, and adherence to standards.
• Create parametric and non‑parametric families for BIM models.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve design conflicts.

Required profile

• Diploma or engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of CAD drafting experience on infrastructure and dry utilities projects.
• Fluent English communication skills.
