BIM Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join our engineering consultancy in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on large‑scale transportation, roads, highways, utilities and infrastructure projects, requiring strong consulting experience and hands‑on BIM workflow delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models for roads, highways, transportation, utilities, drainage and other infrastructure disciplines.
• Manage model integration and federated model coordination across Civil, Utilities, Structures and Transport disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and model reviews using Navisworks and ensure timely resolution of design conflicts.
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project BIM Execution Plans and ISO 19650 standards.
• Monitor model quality, data consistency, naming conventions and overall compliance with BIM standards.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings with internal design teams and external stakeholders.
• Produce coordination reports, clash reports, model audits and BIM progress updates.
• Support project teams in BIM implementation throughout design and delivery phases.
• Maintain and manage models within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360 environments.
• Collaborate closely with design managers, discipline leads and BIM managers to achieve project objectives.
• Assist in developing and improving BIM workflows, templates and best practices for infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of BIM coordination experience on transportation, roads, highways, utilities and infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience working with engineering consultancies on design projects within the UAE or GCC region.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
