BIM Coordinator / Modeller – Busbar ETO Projects

About the role

Vertiv is looking for a detail‑oriented BIM Coordinator/Modeller to join its busbar engineered‑to‑order team in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Reporting to the BIM Manager, you will create accurate 2D shop drawings and 3D BIM models for busbar routes in commercial and data‑center projects, working closely with mechanical engineers, project managers and manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare 3D busbar layout models and 2D shop drawings in line with tender specifications and delivery dates.
• Conduct review meetings with project team members to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Track and communicate BOQ changes, resolve drawing and specification discrepancies, and obtain BIM Manager approval.
• Maintain up‑to‑date drawing locations, ensure zero‑error design at project close‑out, and adhere to Vertiv HSE policies.
• Support site measurements and provide necessary documentation for project execution.

Required profile

• Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a BIM Coordinator/Modeller on data‑center or high‑rise projects.
• Strong knowledge of BIM workflow, ISO 19650 standards and ability to read engineering drawings, SLDs and technical specifications.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
