Lead Planning Engineer

About the role

Lead Planning Engineer responsible for developing and managing project baseline programmes, aligning subcontractor schedules, and supporting construction and delivery strategies for complex construction projects in Ras Al Khaimah.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the planning process, develop baseline programmes and revisions using Primavera P6.
• Review drawings, contracts, BOQs and specifications to create comprehensive project schedules.
• Identify programme risks, lead workshops, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Produce weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards and support 4D progress submissions.
• Establish resource requirements, load programmes and coordinate with construction managers.

Required profile

• Engineering, Building or equivalent degree.
• 10+ years experience as a Planning Engineer in building construction, including 5 years in a tender department.
• Leadership experience mentoring teams on projects exceeding AED 500 million.
• Strong contractual awareness and ability to assess RFIs and instructions.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
