Bookkeeper

About the role

BookBI is developing AI‑powered accounting software for small and medium enterprises. We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to manage daily financial operations and help shape the future of our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping activities and record financial transactions.
• Reconcile accounts, maintain accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and review financial reports, supporting month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Assist with VAT compliance and reporting, especially UAE regulations.
• Ensure financial records are accurate, up‑to‑date, and audit‑ready.
• Collaborate with the product team by sharing insights to improve the BookBI platform.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills in English.
