Senior Accountant – Real Estate Developer (Dubai)

About the role

The Senior Accountant is specifically hired to manage the end‑to‑end accounting of our prominent client who is a Real Estate Developer in Dubai. This full‑time, on‑site role is located in Dubai and includes overseeing general ledger entries, reconciliations, month‑end and year‑end closing, and preparation of financial statements in line with relevant standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger entries, reconciliations, month‑end and year‑end closing, and preparation of financial statements.
• Manage project accounting, customer accounts, DLD‑related accounting, escrow accounts, banking, financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit coordination.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA) preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, including 2–3 years with a UAE real‑estate developer.
• Strong practical experience with DLD, RERA, Oqood, project escrow accounts, and developer accounting.
• Good knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, and advanced Excel and ERP software skills.
