Branch Accountant – Automotive Finance (UAE National)

About the role

The Branch Accountant supports day‑to‑day dealership finance operations, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance with financial policies, and timely month‑end close in a high‑volume automotive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and post daily branch transactions such as invoices, receipts, customer collections, and vendor payments.
• Support vehicle deals by checking pricing, discount requests and ensuring proper approvals.
• Monitor cash collections, bank deposits and petty‑cash balances, reconciling them daily.
• Prepare and follow up on reconciliations for customer accounts, vendor balances and petty cash.
• Assist with month‑end close activities, including accrual inputs, provisions and journal entries.
• Track branch operating expenses, purchase orders and supplier invoices to identify overspending or miscoding.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, delegation of authority, internal controls and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations and financial controls.
• 2‑4 years of experience in accounting, branch finance or high‑volume transactional finance.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, and dealership finance operations.
