Business Development Engineer

About the role

Group AMANA is seeking a Business Development Engineer to support its growth in industrial construction, including new sectors such as oil & gas and power & water. The role focuses on market expansion, client engagement, and coordination of tender processes.

Key responsibilities

• Organise technical seminars for clients, consultants and market participants to strengthen the company’s image.
• Promote the Design‑Build concept with consultants and developers.
• Assist in securing projects in new industries (e.g., oil/gas, power/water) to meet strategic objectives.
• Pre‑qualify Amana with clients and consultants as required for strategic growth.
• Maintain an accurate picture of market size and competitor positioning under the guidance of the Senior Business Development Engineer.
• Coordinate tender scopes, liaise with clients/consultants during tendering, and support kickoff meetings for new jobs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, clients and authorities.
• Provide systematic feedback on lost projects to management.
• Coordinate with Accounts to recover outstanding or unused tender bonds.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in business development or a related field.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Valid driving licence.
