Business Development Executive – e‑Invoicing Sales

About the role

Mazeed is a financial‑management SaaS platform helping GCC SMEs automate accounting, tax compliance and e‑invoicing. The Business Development Executive will turn the UAE e‑invoicing mandate into revenue by selling Mazeed’s solutions directly and through strategic partners.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a named pipeline of target businesses, run the full sales cycle and achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
• Self‑source leads via calls, email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, events and referrals, focusing on triggers such as new trade licences, VAT registrations and upcoming e‑invoicing deadlines.
• Identify, negotiate and sign partnership agreements with free‑zone authorities, banks, accounting firms and technology platforms, designing appropriate referral or co‑marketing models.
• Deliver enablement packs to new partners, drive partner productivity within 60 days and conduct monthly performance reviews.
• Maintain CRM data daily, submit daily plans and weekly pipeline reports, and share market and regulatory intelligence with the team.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in SaaS, fintech or accounting software.
• At least 2 years of partnership or channel‑sales experience with a proven record of meeting targets.
• Demonstrated success selling in the UAE and an existing network across free zones, banks or accounting firms.
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax and the e‑invoicing mandate, or ability to learn quickly.
• Strong outbound discipline with daily prospecting and cold‑outreach targets.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.
