Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive will turn the UAE e‑invoicing mandate into revenue for Mazeed by selling its e‑invoicing and accounting solutions directly and through strategic partners.

Key responsibilities

• Build and work a named list of target businesses, run the full sales cycle and position Mazeed as the accredited e‑invoicing route for UAE (and KSA) businesses.
• Self‑source pipeline through calls, email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, events and referrals, prospecting on triggers such as new trade licences and VAT registrations.
• Identify, approach and sign distribution partners (free‑zone authorities, banks, accounting firms, accelerators, software platforms) and structure appropriate partnership models.
• Deliver enablement packs to new partners, make them productive within 60 days and run monthly performance reviews.
• Maintain CRM daily, submit start‑of‑day plans, end‑of‑day summaries and weekly pipeline reports, and share market intelligence.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in SaaS, fintech or accounting software.
• At least 2 years of experience building or managing partnerships or channel sales.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with quantifiable results.
• Experience selling in the UAE with an existing network across free zones, banks or accounting firms.
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax and the e‑invoicing mandate, or ability to learn quickly.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.
