Business Development Executive – UAE Tax & Cloud Accounting Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to promote Ledgers.cloud, our cloud‑based Accounting and CRM platform, to businesses across the UAE. You will identify new opportunities, build strong relationships, and guide prospects through the sales cycle while ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals and lead‑generation activities.
• Promote and demonstrate Ledgers.cloud, highlighting accounting, CRM, invoicing, inventory, payroll and reporting features.
• Conduct online and in‑person product demos and presentations for prospective customers.
• Understand client business processes and recommend suitable software solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from qualification to negotiation and deal closure.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline updates in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with implementation and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Stay current with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations and assist customers with compliance matters.
• Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions and industry forums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Marketing or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in business development, B2B or SaaS sales.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, VAT and tax filing processes.
• Strong presentation, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
