Business Development Manager – Advanced Defense

About the role

EDGE Group is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth of its advanced defence portfolio, covering missile systems, precision‑guided weapons, armaments and next‑generation strike capabilities. You will act as a strategic link between technical, commercial and programme teams and external defence and government stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in regional and international defence markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with defence ministries, armed forces and key government agencies.
• Support capture activities, including proposal development, pricing and competitive positioning.
• Lead market analysis and contribute to expansion strategies for advanced weapons technologies.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, commercial and programme teams to align solutions with customer requirements.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, program or product management within the defence sector.
• Deep knowledge of missile systems, guided munitions, precision strike capabilities and armaments.
• Proven track record managing complex defence pursuits and capture strategies.
• Understanding of defence procurement processes and market dynamics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Defence Studies or related field (Master’s preferred).
