Business Development Manager – Asset Performance (UAE)

About the role

Bilfinger, a leading international industrial services provider, is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Asset Performance business in Abu Dhabi. The role will drive market expansion, build strategic customer relationships and deliver profitable growth across the UAE energy and process sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the UAE sales and business development strategy, targeting new customer acquisition and account expansion.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with key strategic accounts, creating engagement plans and stakeholder maps.
• Identify, qualify and pursue high‑value opportunities, leading commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver competitive proposals and ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes, providing intelligence to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of business development, sales or commercial leadership experience in the UAE energy, petrochemical or industrial services sectors.
• Proven track record of winning major service contracts and managing complex bids or tenders.
• Existing network across major UAE industrial operators and stakeholders.
• Engineering qualification (Mechanical or Process) with strong commercial and financial acumen.
