Business Development Manager – Freight Forwarding & Logistics

About the role

Zozick Crogo L.L.C., part of a global group, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in its freight forwarding and logistics operations across the UAE. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, expanding service offerings, and strengthening client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies to generate new customers and revenue in the UAE freight forwarding and logistics market.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across air, sea, road freight, customs clearance and logistics services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, conducting meetings, preparing quotations and negotiating commercial terms.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
• Collaborate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities and customer accounts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales within freight forwarding and logistics in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE logistics and freight forwarding market.
• Existing client network and business contacts in the UAE are an advantage.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and commercially driven.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of UAE freight forwarding and logistics services (air, sea, road, customs clearance).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to develop new business and maintain long‑term client relationships.
