Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager is accountable for researching and identifying new opportunities to grow the business, proposing potential deals and leading projects from introduction to implementation. The role involves studying financial impacts, reviewing organisational positioning, analysing market trends and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, secure and negotiate expansion opportunities through research, field visits and outsourced services.
• Detect new markets and promote company services in data centre, network infrastructure, business continuity, disaster recovery, information and cyber security.
• Conduct business reviews to evaluate strengths, weaknesses and operational effectiveness.
• Oversee strategic projects, suggest system enhancements and prepare presentations on new opportunities.
• Prepare financial simulations to assess feasibility and profitability of potential projects.
• Draft agreements with partners, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and provide regular after‑sales support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure sales, with a focus on project‑based sales.
• Proven track record selling storage, server and networking solutions from vendors such as IBM, Rubrik, Lenovo or Dell.
• Strong network and established customer relationships in the Abu Dhabi market.
