Business Development Manager – Remote (FinTech)

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (Junior/Mid‑level) to help expand a fast‑growing fintech payment platform across Asia’s markets. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility while you build a pipeline of merchants, financial institutions and digital wallets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research prospects that match the target profile.
• Reach out via email, LinkedIn and other outbound channels.
• Support cold‑calling activities and schedule introductory meetings for the sales team.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads using predefined criteria before handing them to Account Executives.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and keep prospect information up‑to‑date.
• Use AI tools and sales platforms to improve prospect research and personalize communication.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams by sharing feedback from customer conversations and market trends.
• Participate in industry events, webinars and networking activities when required.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in business development, sales, lead generation or related roles (including recent graduates with relevant internships).
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a remote, fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for team meetings or events.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive.
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) and a willingness to adopt modern sales technologies.
