Business Development Manager – Retail Partnerships

About the role

Join Deliveroo’s fast‑growing SMB team as a Business Development Manager focused on retail partnerships in Dubai. You will be responsible for bringing new retail partners onto the platform, guiding them through onboarding and ensuring early success.

Key responsibilities

• Map, prospect, pitch and close new retail partners across the region, building a strong pipeline of leads.
• Demonstrate Deliveroo’s technology and value proposition through physical visits, emails, calls and social media.
• Oversee the partner onboarding process to make it quick, efficient and seamless.
• Ensure partner success during the first eight weeks after signing.
• Attend meetups and events to promote the platform and expand networks.
• Track and report on KPIs such as number of partners signed each month and performance of new partners in their first three months.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of sales experience, preferably with exposure to the restaurant or retail sector.
• Proven track record in prospecting, pitching and closing deals.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to structure win‑win agreements.
• Commercially minded with an understanding of delivery economics for both partners and Deliveroo.
• Self‑motivated, tenacious and able to work towards demanding targets.
• Passion for food, retail and the on‑demand economy.
