Business Development Manager – Risk Management

About the role

Marsh Risk Consulting is looking for a senior Business Development Manager to join its Risk Management team in the UAE. The role focuses on prospecting, nurturing and securing new business opportunities with large corporate clients across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage an extensive network of contacts within large UAE organisations to generate new sales.
• Identify client needs and present innovative risk‑management and insurance solutions.
• Monitor market and industry trends to define and execute effective sales strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional client service and support.
• Work alongside colleagues from Mercer, Oliver Wyman and Guy Carpenter to deliver the full value of Marsh McLennan.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of direct sales experience, preferably in insurance or risk management.
• Proven track record of prospecting, nurturing and closing deals with large corporate clients in the UAE.
• Deep knowledge of the UAE insurance and risk‑management market.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex client needs.
• Willingness to travel within the UAE as required.
