Technical Sales Engineer – Water Treatment

About the role

ALPHX is a Dubai‑based B2B supplier of specialty chemicals and technical solutions for water treatment and reverse osmosis (RO) applications. We are looking for a hands‑on Technical Sales Engineer to develop ALPHX's water treatment chemicals business in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new B2B customers in the UAE water treatment market.
• Visit water treatment companies, RO plants, industrial facilities, contractors and potential distributors.
• Generate leads, arrange meetings and actively follow up sales opportunities.
• Understand customer RO systems, water analysis and operating conditions.
• Support selection and application of RO antiscalants and other water treatment chemicals.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and technical/commercial offers.
• Follow opportunities from initial contact through quotation, negotiation and order.
• Develop long‑term relationships with customers and technical decision‑makers.
• Provide regular reports on leads, customer visits, quotations and sales pipeline.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of relevant experience in water treatment in the UAE or GCC.
• Practical knowledge of RO systems and water treatment chemicals.
• Experience in technical sales or business development.
• Engineering, chemistry, environmental science or related technical background preferred.
• Good English communication and presentation skills.
• UAE driving licence preferred.
