Business Development Representative

About the role

GARCX, the Global AgroVet Research Conference, is seeking a proactive Business Development Representative to expand its presence across the UAE. Based in Dubai, you will act as the face of the conference at academic and industry events, building strategic partnerships that enhance the conference’s impact.

Key responsibilities

• Represent GARCX at universities, research institutions, conferences, exhibitions, and industry events throughout the UAE.
• Build and nurture relationships with academic, industry, and government stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for partnerships, institutional collaborations, sponsorships, and conference participation.
• Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective partners.
• Collaborate closely with the GARCX team to expand the conference network and strengthen regional engagement.

Required profile

• Based in Dubai, UAE.
• Valid UAE driving licence (mandatory).
• 1–2 years of experience in business development, conferences, events, or institutional partnerships.
• Experience in educational, agricultural, scientific, or research conferences is preferred.
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated with a willingness to travel across the UAE.
