Business Risk Manager - AVP

About the role

State Street is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead Business Risk Management across the Middle East. The role partners with executive management to assess, monitor, and mitigate operational, compliance, and technology risks within the first line of defense.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of function in coordinating regional risk assessments (RCSA/LERA) and overseeing issue and incident management.
• Monitor key risk indicators, control performance, and produce consolidated risk reports for senior committees.
• Ensure implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across business lines.
• Liaise with regional management and provide risk metrics to enable informed decision‑making.
• Act as a risk partner for new products, regulatory changes, and business projects, conducting process and control analysis.

Required profile

• Assistant Vice President level experience in business risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to work with senior executives and regional country heads.
• Strong understanding of compliance, enterprise risk, and technology risk frameworks.
• Experience in coordinating risk assessments and governance committees.
