Business Solutions Manager - Pricing

About the role

Pricing is a key lever in airline commercial performance. As a Business Solutions Manager – Pricing you will lead the transformation of technology, systems and analytics that support pricing decisions across Etihad’s global network, working closely with Commercial, Revenue Management and Technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead innovation initiatives on airline pricing systems and commercial optimisation.
• Drive continuous improvement of pricing processes through automation, analytics and emerging technologies.
• Design and implement proof‑of‑concepts and transition successful pilots into enterprise solutions.
• Own pricing platforms, ensuring they align with evolving commercial strategies and road‑maps.
• Partner with Pricing, Revenue Management, Commercial, Digital and Technology teams to define future system capabilities.
• Manage system enhancements, testing, production releases and calibration of pricing models.
• Monitor pricing performance, system utilisation and user behaviour to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain data quality, governance and system performance across Pricing Solutions platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics or related field (MBA advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within the airline industry.
• Strong understanding of airline pricing concepts, fare construction, rules, routings, seasonality and ATPCO categories.
• Proven stakeholder‑management skills and ability to bridge business and technology teams.
