Business Solutions Manager – Retail (IKEA RSO)

About the role

The Business Solutions Manager will lead the design, configuration and support of IT solutions that align with IKEA’s retail strategy across the UAE, Qatar, Egypt and Oman. You will translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring seamless implementation of ERP modules and digital tools across stores and warehouses.

Key responsibilities

• Scope and analyse business requirements, converting them into integrated workflow solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define system specifications for new technology roll‑outs.
• Develop business cases, cost‑benefit analyses and manage project budgets.
• Oversee enterprise project roll‑outs, service packs and hot‑fix deployments with minimal disruption.
• Maintain IT processes, standards and service level agreements across all territories.
• Audit applications and database authorisations, ensuring compliance with global audits.
• Coordinate ETL activities, backups and recovery plans with technical teams.
• Lead expansion projects, delivering solutions on time, within scope and budget.
