About the role

GEMS Metropole School Al Waha in Dubai is seeking a Business Studies Lead to join the team from August 2026. Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Business Studies curriculum to GCSE and A‑Level students.
• Integrate AI concepts and modern business practices into lessons.
• Employ creative and enthusiastic teaching methods both inside and outside the classroom.
• Participate actively in extra‑curricular programmes and community‑based events.

Required profile

• Embodies GEMS core values of curiosity, confidence, creativity, respect and kindness.
• Holds a BEd or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent qualification.
• Proven qualified experience teaching GCSE and A‑Level subjects.
• Ability to share exemplary teaching practices.
• Creative, enthusiastic approach to education.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues, students and parents.
• Track record of outstanding learning and teaching outcomes.
• Willingness to contribute positively to school culture and extra‑curricular activities.
