About the role

The Buyer will plan and select the range, type, quality and quantity of merchandise to meet customer demand and brand objectives. Working closely with the Brand Manager/GM, the role ensures buying activities align with budget, sell‑through targets and seasonal strategies.

Key responsibilities

Develop and execute seasonal business strategies, including gross margin plans, assortment and investment planning.
Manage Open‑to‑Buy (OTB) in coordination with planning teams and maintain the buying calendar.
Negotiate with new and existing suppliers on pricing, payment terms, freight costs and promotional support.
Analyse weekly sales performance, adjust production flows and maximise sell‑through.
Conduct competitor surveys, identify product gaps and influence range planning.
Lead product training for staff and collaborate with Marketing and Visual Merchandising on seasonal product focus.
