Cabin Mechanic

About the role

The Cabin Mechanic ensures that aircraft interiors are maintained and cleaned to the highest standards, complying with flydubai and regulatory requirements. The role supports rapid turnaround of arriving aircraft and contributes to overall cabin appearance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior cleaning standards for the operated fleet.
• Meet arriving aircraft on turnaround within 10 minutes.
• Review and action the Cabin Defects Log (CDL) for each aircraft.
• Execute tasks assigned by the Team Leader Aircraft Appearance (TLAA) and complete Work Packages with accurate AMOS entries.
• Record any damage precisely and raise Parts Requests for Aircraft Deferred Defect (ADD) items.
• Identify cleaning requirements, verify post‑cleaning standards, and maintain the condition of allocated vehicles.
• Provide overtime support up to 50 hours per month and deputize for the TLAA as needed.

Required profile

• High School Diploma.
• Fluent in English.
• 3‑5 years of experience in commercial aircraft cabin maintenance (line or base).
• Demonstrated customer focus, teamwork, effective communication, personal accountability, and resilience.
• Compliance with ISR policies and completion of required awareness sessions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AMOS maintenance software.
• Experience handling Aircraft Deferred Defect (ADD) processes.
• Knowledge of Cabin Defects Log (CDL) management.
