Cable Engineer – Power Transmission

About the role

We are seeking a Cable Engineer to provide specialist technical review for high‑voltage cable systems within major transmission projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review high‑voltage cable‑system designs and submissions.
• Assess cable routing, layouts and engineering documentation.
• Evaluate installation and interface requirements.
• Coordinate civil, substation and electrical interfaces.
• Review technical changes and vendor documentation.
• Support testing and commissioning readiness, and review as‑built and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Strong experience with high‑voltage cable systems.
• Experience in transmission or substation cable projects.
• Extensive EPC design‑review background.
• Knowledge of cable installation, testing and commissioning requirements.
• Strong multidisciplinary interface‑management skills.
