Campus Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Campus Director to lead the operations and development of a well‑established higher‑education campus in the United Arab Emirates. The role combines strategic planning, financial oversight, student recruitment and retention, and regulatory compliance, reporting directly to senior institutional leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for campus operations, coordinating academic and administrative functions.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term campus plans aligned with institutional strategy.
• Oversee budgeting, financial performance, resource allocation and operational efficiency.
• Drive student recruitment, enrollment initiatives and monitor progress against targets.
• Lead initiatives to enhance student engagement, experience, retention and overall campus performance.
• Collaborate with academic leadership to maintain high standards of delivery and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation and institutional requirements.
• Lead campus management teams, promote accountability and monitor departmental performance.
• Support student orientation, campus activities and initiatives that boost engagement.
• Build relationships with external stakeholders and strengthen community engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing operations within a university or higher‑education environment.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary academic and administrative teams.
• Strong understanding of student recruitment, enrollment, retention and the student experience.
• Experience with budgeting, operational planning and performance management.
• Commercial and financial awareness.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Collaborative leadership style with ability to hold teams accountable.
• PhD from an accredited university (required) and relevant higher‑education leadership experience.
