Captain Waiter

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and professional Captain Waiter for our operations at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi. The Captain Waiter will be a cornerstone of our front‑of‑house team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, manage seating arrangements and coordinate table assignments to optimise flow and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee all aspects of service, including order accuracy, timing and presentation.
• Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate communication between front‑of‑house and kitchen staff to maintain service efficiency and quality.
• Conduct staff training sessions on service protocols, menu knowledge and customer interaction techniques.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety and sanitation regulations throughout the dining area.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in restaurant service management.
• Proven leadership and team‑management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Exceptional customer service focus and strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and sound judgment in high‑pressure situations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
