About the role

GTA Cars, a leading premium used‑car dealership in Dubai, is looking for an experienced Car Purchaser to source and acquire quality vehicles for its showroom. The role combines market research, negotiation and coordination of inspections to ensure a profitable stock.

Key responsibilities

• Source vehicles across the UAE through outbound calls, online platforms, referrals and personal networks.
• Evaluate each vehicle’s price, condition, mileage, service history and resale potential.
• Negotiate purchase prices with private sellers and dealers to secure profitable deals.
• Coordinate inspections, test drives and compliance checks before finalising any purchase.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to keep showroom inventory aligned with market demand.
• Maintain accurate records of all sourcing activity and negotiation outcomes.
• Achieve monthly targets for volume, margin and stock quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in automotive purchasing or sales; UAE experience preferred, but strong UK/European/Australian backgrounds considered.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle makes, models, condition assessment and market values.
• Confident negotiator comfortable with outbound sourcing and direct seller interaction.
• Valid UAE driving licence or UK licence with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Detail‑oriented, process‑driven and self‑motivated in a target‑driven environment.
• Ability to build trust quickly, whether on the phone or face‑to‑face.
