Cargo Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Cargo Operations Coordinator supports the optimisation of aircraft space utilisation at Dubai World Central (DWC). Working closely with the Ground Handling Agent (GHA) and internal teams, the role ensures cargo is stored correctly, claims are minimised, and operational flow remains smooth.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor low‑capacity flights with high cargo demand to maximise uplifted volume.
• Maintain clear communication across departments and keep stakeholders informed of operational activity.
• Support cargo handling in flydubai warehouses, ramp, and aircraft, including build‑up, breakdown, delivery and customer service issues.
• Handle cargo according to SOPs, safety, security and airline procedures, with special focus on Dangerous Goods, valuables, perishables, live animals and diplomatic mail.
• Oversee warehouse floor activities, assist with tracing, repacking and Quick Ramp Transfer cargo, reporting any irregularities.
• Update cargo inventory, including ULD accessories and thermal blankets.
• Supervise GHA activities on shift and assist Cargo Officers with reporting.
• Control export and import processes to ensure timely and correctly prioritised shipments.

Required profile

• High School Diploma.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in cargo or logistics operations.
• UAE driving licence.
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Regulations (CBTA 7.3A preferred).
