About the role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join its Facilities team in Fujairah. The role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the hotel’s interior and exterior spaces remain in excellent condition.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and repair carpentry elements, wood trim, drywall, and paint surfaces.
• Identify and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as needed.
• Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts using approved procedures.
• Perform basic repairs on plumbing, electrical components, HVAC filters, and lighting.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Carry out minor landscaping and sprinkler system repairs.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a shift team.
• Good communication skills with guests and internal staff.

• Professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.
