Carpenter

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join the engineering team at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort. You will ensure the safety and comfort of our guests by maintaining and repairing wooden structures and fixtures throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Address guest safety concerns promptly and ensure complete satisfaction with completed work.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks according to the hotel’s schedule.
• Maintain, store, and return all tools provided by the hotel after each shift.
• Clean work areas thoroughly after completing tasks.
• Follow all safety procedures while performing duties.
• Communicate effectively with the Shift Leader at all times.
• Participate in the hotel’s energy‑conservation and environmental programs.
• Suggest cost‑saving ideas across the engineering department.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to guest safety and service quality.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Good communication skills for regular interaction with the Shift Leader.
• Willingness to contribute to energy‑saving and environmentally friendly initiatives.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Experience in preventive maintenance of wooden structures.
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures in a hospitality setting.
