Cashier – School Fee Collection and Financial Support

About the role

The Cashier will be responsible for accurately receiving, processing, and recording all fee receipts while delivering courteous service to parents. This position ensures proper handling of cash and cash equivalents and maintains precise financial records in line with school policies.

Key responsibilities

• Collect tuition fees and other school‑related payments and record them in the ERP system.
• Reconcile daily cash collections with system reports and deposit funds into designated bank accounts.
• Follow up on outstanding tuition fees and prepare summary reports for the Finance Administrator.
• Track and reconcile advance fee deposits, identifying any unidentified bank transactions.
• Maintain an updated log of current‑dated and post‑dated cheques for timely bank deposit.
• Collect payments for canteen, events, and extracurricular activities, issue receipts, and record them in the ERP.
• Manage school petty cash, ensuring accurate recording, monitoring, and regular reconciliation.
• Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.
• Ensure safe handling of cash with daily logging and end‑of‑day reconciliation, adhering to internal financial controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar cash handling or finance role.
• Willingness to undergo enhanced child protection screening and background checks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for financial transactions.
