Category A Aircraft Technician – Jakarta Recruitment Event

About the role

The successful candidate will join Air Arabia’s line‑maintenance team, performing hands‑on servicing, inspections and repairs on Air Arabia and third‑party aircraft. This position is linked to an invitation‑only recruitment event in Jakarta, Indonesia, and candidates must be available to attend the event in early September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Review assigned tasks with the Maintenance Manager to understand priorities, documentation and safety cautions.
• Prepare and execute scheduled aircraft maintenance, ensuring required parts, tools and ground‑support equipment are available.
• Conduct aircraft tests, inspections and routine checks (Transit, Daily, Weekly) to identify and record defects.
• Perform component replacement and defect rectification under a Category A1 licence.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report task status to the In‑Charge.
• Manage safety for all assigned tasks, adhering to published precautions.

Required profile

• Possession of a valid CAR 66 Category A1 (Cat 1) licence.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced maintenance environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
