Category Manager - End-to-End Product Development

About the role

Miral Experiences is seeking a Category Manager to lead retail product innovation across its flagship attractions in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Senior Retail Buyer, you will own the end‑to‑end development and execution of assigned product categories, ensuring they meet market demand and profitability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement category strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and evaluate pricing, quality and sourcing options.
• Collaborate with Merchandise Planning to align buy plans and intake timelines for new and renewal products.
• Work closely with Testing & Compliance to guarantee adherence to UAE regulations and audit requirements.
• Maintain product taxonomy and reporting structures to support data‑driven decision making.
• Monitor market trends, competitor offerings and customer insights to continuously improve the retail mix.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in retail buying, product development or category management.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in budgeting and open‑to‑buy planning.
• Familiarity with UAE retail regulations and compliance processes.
