CCTV Camera Technician

About the role

As a CCTV Camera Technician you will be at the forefront of security technology, installing, maintaining and servicing CCTV cameras and surveillance systems for a range of clients. You will work closely with a technical team and directly with customers to design and implement effective video surveillance solutions that meet their security needs.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure CCTV cameras and related hardware for optimal performance.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and diagnose technical issues promptly.
• Collaborate with clients to design tailored surveillance solutions and provide training on system operation.
• Conduct site surveys to determine optimal camera placement and coverage.
• Document installation processes and generate performance reports.
• Coordinate with the sales team to provide technical insights during client consultations.
• Maintain inventory of tools and equipment required for installations and repairs.
• Assist in developing security strategies and emergency response plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience with installation and maintenance of CCTV camera systems.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Availability for on‑call or overtime work for emergency installations or repairs.
