Chef de Partie – Garde Manger (Hotel Kitchen)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef de Partie – Garde Manger to join our hotel kitchen in Dubai. The role focuses on preparing cold dishes, maintaining high standards of food quality, and supporting the culinary team during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, cold dishes and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters; thaw frozen items safely.
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement and garnish of all plates.
• Maintain food logs, monitor quantity and quality of prepared food, and report excess items for daily specials.
• Communicate with the Chef and service staff about menu specials, out‑of‑stock items and assistance needs.
• Follow all company safety, security and hygiene policies; report any hazards or incidents.
• Support management with hiring, training and scheduling as required.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school qualification in culinary arts or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a garde‑manger or similar cold‑kitchen environment.
• Ability to work full‑time in a fast‑paced, physically demanding setting.
• Professional appearance and commitment to confidentiality and company standards.
