About the role
Al Habtoor Group of Hospitality is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Chief Accountant to lead its finance function in the UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the company’s accounting and financial operations.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure accurate and timely month‑end and year‑end closing.
- Monitor accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting, tax, and financial regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors and support internal financial controls.
- Lead and supervise the accounting team.
Required profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong experience in accounting, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- UAE experience is preferred.
