Chief Accountant

About the role

The Chief Accountant will lead the retail finance function for Rasasi Imtiyaz Group at its Dubai Industrial City hub. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures accurate accounting, robust financial controls and full compliance with UAE tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all retail accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and month‑end close.
• Prepare annual budgets, cash‑flow forecasts, financial statements and executive management reports.
• Manage statutory compliance for UAE VAT, Withholding Tax and Corporate Income Tax/Zakat.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
• Utilise SAP S/4HANA for automated reporting, financial analysis and data integrity.
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls and provide analytical insights for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in retail accounting and financial management.
• Advanced knowledge of UAE tax framework (VAT, WHT, Corporate Tax/Zakat).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
