Chief Financial Officer – Middle East & Africa

About the role

The organisation is a global distributor operating across multiple markets and is entering a new phase of regional growth. They are seeking a commercially‑minded finance leader to relocate to Dubai and drive financial governance, expansion and operational performance for the Middle East & Africa region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning and budgeting for the MEA region.
• Partner with the regional CEO and global finance team to provide insight for commercial decisions.
• Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, reporting, tax, treasury and audit across multiple jurisdictions.
• Drive performance through forecasting, margin optimisation and working‑capital management.
• Develop and lead the regional finance organisation, improving systems, processes and reporting frameworks.
• Support strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, new market entry and operational transformation, including financial due diligence.

Required profile

• Proven experience as CFO, Finance Director or Regional CFO in an international organisation.
• Strong exposure to Middle East and/or Africa markets.
• Background in B2B wholesale, distribution, trading or supply‑chain driven industries.
• Experience managing multi‑country, multi‑currency finance functions.
• Demonstrated commercial mindset and ability to partner with operational leadership.
• Track record of leading large finance teams and delivering strategic financial outcomes.
